- Additional lab performance improvements introduced specifically around Test List generation, finalizing reports and viewing Proctor results
Forms and Report Designer
Report Designer Editing Tools
You can now cut, copy, and paste elements on the Report Designer canvas using keyboard shortcuts or the toolbar. Labels support double-click inline editing, and a right-click context menu gives you quick access to common actions — no more hunting through menus to make changes.
Charts not rendering in Field module
After configuring charting for a form, charts were sometimes failing to render in the Field module. This regression from 26.10 has been resolved.
Air Void (ZAV) legend label appearing multiple times
On Char-Scatter Plot fields, the Air Void legend label was being rendered once per series rather than once total. The legend now displays correctly
Multi-dataset report panels appearing multiple times
Report templates with multiple datasets were rendering panels once per dataset instead of once total, causing duplicate content in output. This has been fixed.
"Show if Empty" table setting reset to No after upgrade
A deployment issue caused the new "Show if Empty" table setting to default to No on all existing report templates, changing the appearance of reports unexpectedly. This has been corrected and existing templates have been restored.
Field
Faster report creation in Field
Addressed a performance issue causing "Create Report" to take several minutes to load in Field, and improved the speed of generating Activity Reports when "Include Discrepancy Log" is enabled.
Field forms failing to open due to cached data issue
In some cases, field forms would fail to open when a cached data source record had a missing timestamp value. This has been fixed.
Offline reports not uploading
Corrected an issue where reports created in offline mode were not uploading successfully upon reconnection.
Default Values On Pick Lists Not Triggering Calculations
Resolved an issue where default value setting applied to a pick list did not always trigger a calculation later in the form. This change also applies lab forms with default values used in calculations.
Lab (LIMS)
Faster system performance in Lab
Addressed slowness in several areas: loading and deleting soil proctor results, finalizing specimen reports for concrete, grout, and mortar batches, and generating the Test List report. These operations are now significantly faster for high-volume labs.
Work Queue crash on "Tests to Assign"
Users were occasionally encountering errors when loading the Tests to Assign tab in the Lab Work Queue when managing high volumes of tests. The item has been resolved.
Regional filter not showing correct labs when Office Access is enabled
When Office Access was enabled, the regional filter in LIMS was excluding labs that should have been visible based on a user's office assignments. This has been corrected.
Forney Integration for Configurable Forms Improvements
Customers leveraging MetaField's integration to Forney will see updates coming on demand. Previously these results where scheduled for every 15 minutes but now the two systems will stay updated as changes are made, allowing lab staff improved productivity.
